Automatic Threat Detection And Alarm Resolution For X-ray Machines
At Blender UI, we designed the user interface and experience for SeeTrue’s mission-critical X-ray detection platform—an application where speed, accuracy, and reliability are paramount. Used in high-stakes security environments, the platform enables real-time detection of restricted items such as firearms, explosives, liquids, and electronic threats across a wide range of baggage and parcel types.
Given the critical nature of the work, our UI/UX design focused on minimizing user error through intuitive layouts, clear visual hierarchies, and responsive interaction flows. SeeTrue’s system integrates with X-ray machines from top vendors including Smiths Detection, Rapiscan, Leidos, Voti, Astrophysics, and Nuctech. Our design ensures that operators can make fast, confident decisions under pressure—supporting operational throughput while enhancing overall security outcomes.
We followed a user-centered design process, starting with research into real-world operator workflows and safety needs. Through rapid prototyping and iterative testing, we crafted an interface focused on clarity, speed, and minimizing user error in high-pressure environments.

Key Objective
The goal was to design a fast, intuitive UI that reduces user error and supports accurate threat detection in high-pressure security environments.
The UI/UX of this screen is designed for clarity, efficiency, and high-stakes usability. It features a clean, grid-based layout that allows operators to quickly scan and compare multiple X-ray images at once. Each image tile is clearly labeled with essential metadata such as time, lane, and ID, reducing cognitive load and supporting traceability.
